six children - Wally Jr., who is a lawyer; Marcia, who works for the Wall Street Journal; and Leslie, who works as a journalist for News Core, a wire service, all in NYC.

This group shared good ideas and everyone seems to be enthusiastic about starting such a fellowship for Christian lawyers here. Our friend Akii came from Dar es Salaam to be a part of this meeting. She will head up contact with these and other lawyers. They will decide on a mission statement and form guidelines for their group.

We have made the Called to Serve House available to this fledgling society for a New Year’s Kick-Off meeting on January 7. We will have the new members present, lecturers from local law schools to speak, an African meal and Christian fellowship. We are all excited about the potential for change that the formation of this group may have.

This moment has come about as a direct result of the time and effort shared here during that time. We are thankful for that team. And we ask that you pray for these lawyers as they start out together down a new path.

We are full of appreciation to the Larsons for coming here to help get this started, and to the Ethics team for playing a vital role in

planting ideas and seeds for new thought into the minds and hearts of the people here. Thank you for the prayers and support, and may God bless each of you richly.
